Development Intern - QA - Automation

The Programme

The Quality Assurance intern will work with the development team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality solution or products.  
They will perform and/or support testing tasks that developed product features meet design or customer needs.  
 
Analyze/create test cases and develop automation test scripts using Selenium for HCM application. And communicates with product developers, business analysts and quality analysts. 
 
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Works with the development team to in familiarization of QA tasks and internal processes. 
• Analyze and create test cases based on design and requirements. 
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium Java/Cucumber. 
• Participates in testing execution tasks both manual and automated. 
• Attend daily scrum to report progress/blockers on assigned tasks.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Taking IT or Computer Science related courses. 
• With hands-on experience in using Java and Selenium. 
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java. 
• Attention to detail, analytical, strategic and organization skills. 
• Willingness to learn and perform software testing tasks and activities. 
• Utilize professional skills and functional/technical knowledge to perform essential functions.    
• Ability to maintain quality standards in writing and executing test cases, bug reporting and verification. 
• Ability to communicate issues and concerns to assigned mentor or working buddy.

• Can cope with self-phased training and requires minimal supervision. 
• Ability to analyze and understand requirements, accurately estimate task durations, and meet commitments.
