Associate Engineer - Manufacturing Test Engineering

What You Will Do

Primary Function:

Responsible for the analysis and repair of defective test interface hardware in accordance with set manufacturing requirements/schedules. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes Gage results.  
  • Performs component-level debugging on hardware.  
  • Performs simple software debugging on C++ or Visual Basic Environment.  
  • Trains and coaches’ technicians on technical issues.  
  • Establishes priorities, works independently, and carries out objectives with minimal supervision  
  • Interprets hardware schematics  
  • Regularly communicates with direct supervisor.  
  • Knowledgeable of basic product test methodologies.  
  • Enforces 5S and work safety standards at all times.  
  • Works with initiative and a sense of urgency.  
  • Uses an Engineering approach to solving hardware issues and applies corrective actions. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • College graduate, BSECE, or Equivalent Degree.  
  • Fresh graduate with up to 2 years of work experience.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, solid circuit analysis capability, familiar with DVM, Oscilloscope, and other test equipment.  Organized and detail-oriented, can work with minimal supervision; Entry-level programming capability required.  Knowledgeable in C or C++ Preferred.
