Master Data Specialist - Business/Finance

The Programme

Primary Purpose of the Position:

• Will be in charge to maintain and update customer and vendor master data in the SAP system according to Global and
• Regional standards within a set service level to meet business needs. 
• Will contribute to enforcing & coordinating the execution of workflow procedures ensuring timely & accurate population of master data elements. 
• Will oversee conducting verification calls to customers and suppliers to ensure that the data being provided is accurate and legitimate. 
• Reports directly to Master Data Senior Team Lead and has functional reporting to Master Data Lead Analyst.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for accurate and timely creation and update of customer and vendor master data. 
• Conducts verification call to suppliers to validate the bank information received. 
• Create and prepare up to date documentation (procedures, manuals, template, system settings) concerning the key activities of the master data management. 
• Prepares master data extraction needed by the different business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or Information Technology. 
• Knowledgeable in data management and SAP (desired). 
• 0–1-year experience in business data role/fresh graduate. 
• Detailed understanding of the company's business areas, their functions, and their objectives and relating that to associated data structures. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills. 
• Ability to manage and adapt to dynamic changes in priorities, resources, and deadlines. 
• Ability to work strategically as well as tactically. 
• Proven process management and execution skills regarding data governance, processes, workflow, entry, and systems. 
• Proven process executor and idea generator for improvements. 
• Able to detect inaccuracies and lead problem resolution. 
• Query and reporting experience. 
• Microsoft Office platforms (Expert Excel, Visio, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint).
