Instrument Data Time Series - Mathematics - Intern

The Programme

Position overview: 
 
The Manila Time Series team is part of the Instrument Data function under the wider Data Content Services group.  
 
The team performs quality assurance and maintains data integrity for both exchange-traded and over-the-counter instruments delivered by external vendors which are then utilized by MSCI Analytics products and risk platforms.

What You Will Do

• Conduct a thorough review and analysis of data quality assurance models being used. 
• Perform extensive analysis of the production data being sourced, derived, quality-checked and released in MSCI risk platforms. 
• Assist in reviewing and building quality assurance (QA) models/framework.

Required Skills and Abilities

Specific knowledge and skills:

• Proficient in SQL and/or Python. 
• Excellent analytical skills and can work with big data.

Desired experience:

• Has experience in SQL, Python (similar database-querying languages).

Desired qualifications:

• Undergraduate students taking Statistics, Math, Engineering or related degrees.

Must be willing to participate in an internship program with a duration of 3 months starting June 3, 2024.
