Software Engineer - Oracle NetSuite Graduate Program

The Programme

We create software for the NetSuite platform that is designed to be used in multiple customer environments, so a customer-focused mindset is a big plus for any role in our organization. 
  
We are based in Manila and are currently organized into three scrum teams made of engineers of various specializations. 
 
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer who will have a significant role in product development, including solving complex problems by understanding and organizing them, building, validating, and verifying solutions, preparing test plans and coding automated tests, and collaborating with geographically diverse product teams.  
 
A great learning experience in using JavaScript and associated tools such as Oracle JET, Angular, React, or Vue.

What You Will Do

• Design, code, document, test, deploy, and provide defect resolution support to a variety of high-quality services, solutions, and prototypes as required by the business. 
• Work closely with other development teams, product management, and UX to translate user requirements into technical solutions. 
• Leverage modern development processes and tools, including Oracle JET and TypeScript. 
• Use existing methods and best practices to create applications with the highest levels of quality, security, reliability, efficiency, scalability, and usability. 
• Prepare, develop, and execute test plans and test cases. 
• Design and develop test automation including Unit, Functional, Performance, and Scalability tests.

Required Skills and Abilities

• 2022 and 2023 Graduate of bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent. 
• Must be academically completed prior to onboarding dates. 
• No experience is required but Internship experience is an advantage. 
• Preferably with a background in Software development and making technical decisions. 
• Preferably with an introduction in Java (C# or similar will also be considered). 
• Preferably with basic knowledge of SQL databases. 
• Preferably with exposure to JavaScript and building user interfaces using Angular, Vue, React, or Oracle JET. 
• Preferably with an understanding of modern web applications from database to browser. 
• Willing to work with software testing. 
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite & WFH).
