The Programme

The Commercial Intern at PayMongo collaborates with the team behind growing PayMongo’s market reach.  
 
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your core competencies in operations and analytics as you execute projects for a wide range of commercial topics, delivering results with cross-functional teams, and building easy-to-use excellent work processes at the core of our Commerce organization. 
 
You will:

• Work in the Commercial team, taking responsibility for day-to-day operational support. 
• Be in the middle of the commercial stack, including lead management, deal promotion, product rollout, analytics, and feedback collection. 
• Work closely with Growth, Operations, Analytics, and Product teams to identify ways to improve commercial processes. 
• Help document commercial processes and projects. 
• Assist the Growth and Product Marketing teams with optimization and merchant enrichment topics and campaigns. 
• Assist with maintaining merchant records.

Required Skills and Abilities

• You have an analytical mindset and aren’t shy about getting in the weeds to understand how a system works to see how you can make it better. 
• You are a fast learner, quick on your feet, and eager to learn new skills in tech business operations. 
• You have a customer-first mindset and can put yourself in the shoes of the user, articulate their needs, then translate them into work components. 
• You have impeccable writing skills and are able to communicate ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. 
• You can accomplish tasks, independently or in a team, with quality in an agile environment.

You will stand out if:

• You have a working understanding of SQL and spreadsheet-based analysis. 
• You have experience working with a CRM. 
• You have a good foundation for executing projects and managing competing stakeholders.
