Risk & Compliance Intern - Business/Finance/Economics

The Programme

As a Risk & Compliance Intern, you will work closely with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in ensuring that the risk management & compliance programs are in place and implemented properly.

What You Will Do

• Help perform the risk management process from risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk monitoring of all the potential risks that might negatively impact the company’s financial position. 
• Assist in the rollout and implementation of Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and IT Risk Assessment (ITRA). 
• Assist in compliance functions such as compliance advisory, awareness materials, and compliance testing. 
• Help provide support and training to employees to create a risk-aware culture. 
• Perform research about the latest trends in risk management that can be used in the enhancement of the existing risk management program.

Required Skills and Abilities

• You are taking up Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related courses. 
• You have strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual skills, and data savvy. 
• You have good communication skills and are able to speak in front of groups, with the ability to lead meetings and take command of discussions. 
• You possess the ability to work and establish working relationships with different teams. 
• You are well-versed in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), knowledge in using statistical software is an advantage.  
• You have the ability to prioritize assignments and effectively handle multiple tasks and activities on a daily basis
