Market Research Analyst - Insurance

The Programme

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.  
 
The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates.  
 
The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate complex research findings related to the digital insurance sector. 
  • Stay updated on technological advancements, industry trends, and consumer behavior in the digital realm to provide informed insights that shape our digital insurance strategy. 
  • Assist in the design and execution of digital surveys, online focus groups, and other digital research activities to gain new perspectives from a tech-savvy audience. 
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends within the digital insurance sector, providing insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. 
  • Collaborate with product management teams to understand the features, benefits, and value propositions of our digital insurance products. 
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the unique benefits of our digital insurance offerings to target audiences. 
  • Create and oversee the production of marketing collateral, including digital content, sales materials, and presentations that showcase the value of our products.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 
  • Recent graduate or up to 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in market research or a related role within the digital landscape. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex digital findings in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Demonstrated creativity and an innovative mindset, with the ability to approach digital research challenges from unique angles. 
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively in cross-functional digital environments. 
  • A passion for staying current with digital industry trends and a curiosity to explore unconventional digital research methodologies.
