Data Analyst - Metal & Mining Industry Content - Science

What You Will Do

• Captures comprehensive information on the data tracked by the Metals and Mining Industry Content team. 
• Performs straightforward, stand-alone tasks or transactions with detailed instructions and predefined procedures. 
• Delivers on predefined individual and team targets including output with quality and excellence 
• Keeps up to date in knowledge of mining content sets. Builds mining industry knowledge. 
• Keeps up to date on mining industry trends and reporting standards. 
• Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the covered content sets. 
• Fosters innovation by identifying enhancement initiatives that support our LEAN philosophy 
• Reviews feedback involving their content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy. 
• Troubleshoots problems or issues and provides meaningful feedback to co-workers.

Required Skills and Abilities

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Geology / BS Engineering / Science courses or equivalent. 
• Fresh graduates are welcome. 
• Strong communication, comprehension, and problem-solving skills. 
• Able to collaborate across multiple cultures. 
• Shift: Mid-Shift, but could change depending on business requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong focus on data quality, attention to details, process- and results-oriented. 
• Knowledge or experience in the mining industry is a plus. 
• Experience on research or data collection is a plus. 
• Technical writing. 
• SQL and advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
